A good deal of the time, the Academy Sports and Entertainment (AS&E) returns are not exactly what we had in mind. When you think about it, the AS&E does return most of its basketball and football players. I think this is a good thing. However, as a student athlete myself, I wonder what happens to our players who want to play again for their school or team. They either leave their schools or transfer.
I’m not sure how the ASampE works. The way the ASampE works is that most of the time they don’t bring their players. They just give them a few days off for any reason. It’s an interesting thing on its own. Maybe it’s a good thing for the student athletes to not have to worry about what will happen to their schools when they leave.
To me, the more interesting question is how the ASampE works. For example, who decides if a student athlete is ready to go? If the student commits to a team and is then given a few days off, does that mean they should go? The ASampE could be giving it too easy a decision there.
Let’s say you have a high school student that’s ready to go. You give them a few days of rest and let them decide on their own if they want the season to start and what team they want to join.
In the academy sports world, the rules are that once you commit to a team you can’t leave. That means that once you commit to a team you can’t go on vacation, and that means that you can’t join a team you’ve committed to, unless you are a part of their parent’s team. A player could leave their parents’ team to join a rival team, or vice-versa.
When a player commits to a team with its parent team, they are no longer part of the academy itself and therefore will be able to go on vacation or join a rival club. As a fan of the academy, I would like to see the rules loosened. I also think the same should be true for players.
The academy is based on sports. There are many players who are excellent athletes but do not play basketball, baseball, or football. They play soccer, which requires a lot of fitness. This could be a problem on a professional team. These players, especially the ones who are the most talented, can be hard to replace in the future.
To me, the biggest problem with the academy system as it is today is that coaches have a lot of power, so this system puts power in the hands of the coaches. I don’t expect coaches to be able to fire players, but I do think they should be able to send players to lower levels if they have the necessary skills.
I agree that the coaches should be able to send players to lower levels if they have the skills, but I don’t think this should be a permanent option for all coaches. I think this should be a last resort that only happens when players have been in a certain level for a period of time, and if this happens once they should never be allowed to return for a new cycle.
It’s clear that academy sports has to be done in a different way. The main problem is that the system doesn’t seem to work for players. Since many of the players in academy sports just get bored and drop out, the coaches are forced to play for long hours, which means they get less sleep than they would in a normal high school. It also means that the coaches have less time to train their players and this leads to a lack of teamwork.
